......they are indebted to the highly mysterious Les Rallizes Denudes. Formed around 1967,and spotted in action as recently as 1994,the rallizes specialise in this same basic principles ; relatively simple bass and drum patterns played at great length and volume, over-laid with searing guiter workouts and a voice which barely punctures the ether. Unusually for the Japanese Underground, the Rallizes have managed to release only three, very limited, albums in that time, all of which change hands for astronomical figures. The rare double live set ﾒ77 - Liveﾓ is particularly worthy of mention, demonstrating the power and inventiveness of the Rallizes to perfection.
